Description

This project consisted of a 105,000 sq.ft. arena addition to the existing Airdrie City Leisure & Aquatic Centre. Features include an NHL regulation ice surface, 2000 fixed seats, 192 box seats, 400 standing reserved, as well as a heat recovery system on the ice plant used to heat the addition and existing facility. Also included was a large walking track, retail space, pro shop, lounge and commercial kitchen/concession area.

Finding local manpower was a challenge on this project, which Falex overcame by through additional searches. This effort resulted in reduced project costs.
