Description

Dorval Garden is a Shopping Mall located at 352 Av. Río Guadalquivir, Montreal. Dorval Garden is one of the oldest shopping malls in the city of Montreal. Originally built as a large L-Shaped structure and permitted to open for public in April – 1954 with the capacity of 35 stores which was later expanded to 60 stores well managed in the two-story building acquire the retail space of 360,000 sq ft.

Falex was hired for the complete renovation of flooring and roofing of the mall in April 2001 When Dorval’s new owner took over. As per the client’s requirements, our design professionals made some changes in the original design and offered alternative ideas which were considered by the new owner to open some new entry and exit doors, installation of advanced HVAC systems, and change the interior & exterior look.

With the help of our professional project management team Falex successfully manage to complete the marble flooring, roof strengthening, and some interior & exterior finishing and fit out work within a very short period of time and by effective procurement save nearly a quarter of a million.

This project gave Falex Structures a platform to build on and consequently, Falex went on to do further projects on a much larger scale with prominent names of the retail sector.
